Many hosts buy software before they have a process. The better order is to map the repeated tasks first, then choose tools that support them.

Automate guest messages

Booking confirmations, pre-arrival notes, check-in instructions, mid-stay check-ins and review requests can all be templated. The aim is to sound helpful and consistent while still leaving space for personal replies.

Sync calendars properly

If you use more than one platform, calendar management becomes critical. A channel manager or careful iCal setup reduces double-booking risk and keeps availability easier to control.

Coordinate cleaners and turnovers

The cleaner needs the booking dates, departure time, linen requirements and any guest notes. A simple shared calendar and turnover checklist can remove a lot of back-and-forth messages.
